But tired of what? Of trying to get the body, mind, and emotions ‘on track’? What does ‘on track’ mean? It means being able to live a full, rich life with sustainable vitality, and free from the distracting symptoms associated with not being optimally balanced in body, mind and emotions. 

The body is our vehicle to explore this life. When the body is riddled with symptoms, discomfort, and turbulence, we can succumb and even resign to living with a lower level of well-being than what is naturally possible. 

However, when we are attuned to what is natural, we create a space to thrive. And, if inspired, we create a foundation upon which to help others do the same.

I'm Kelsey, Ayurveda teacher and health counselor, and I felt that way too. I was health-conscious and lived an active life, but felt bogged down by physical symptoms that included acne, digestive issues, regular colds, headaches, and excess weight. I was constantly distracted by my scattered, anxious, often frustrated and overwhelming emotions – and couldn’t figure out how to change it.

I was fortunate to find Yoga and Ayurveda and spent a decade immersed in studying, living, and working with these timeless, holistic practices. Once I began to understand how the five elements present in nature are alive in all of us, my life changed.

I discovered that the balance of the five elements in all areas of my life regulated my emotions, and feelings of physical and mental well-being. And the  symptoms that had persisted for most of my life went away. 

How I felt in my body, mind, and about my entire life shifted incredibly. I began teaching Ayurveda to empower others to learn how to live according to what is natural for us as human beings AND as individuals - and reach their full potential too. 

The core, foundational Ayurvedic principles and wisdoms are comprehensive, complete, and life-changing - and they provide a framework through which you could even grow into an Ayurveda professional who then in turn, helps others.

Diet part 1 - “Hows” and “Whats” of Eating for Health

In this module you will:

For over a decade, Kelsey has developed, conducted, and taught at innumerable trainings including yoga teacher trainings, Ayurvedic chef trainings, and Ayurvedic treatment trainings, introductory to advanced Ayurveda programs and yoga and Ayurveda retreats in Hawaii, India, New Zealand, and Canada.

 

She has mentored many students through their professional Ayurveda studies and provides ongoing mentorship for counselors, teachers and practitioners. She currently works with clients and students in person and online to create holistic health and balanced living through her offerings at Illumine Ayurveda and Yoga, provides the teachings of Ayurveda and yoga at yoga teacher trainings worldwide, and she is the Ayurveda Director and faculty member at Bindu Institute of Learning.
